Mist forms more easily if there is something to bond to. If you clean the inside of the window then misting will be minimised. The next thing to think about is 'where's the water coming from'. If the inside of your car is dry then it can't mist up. Are your carpets wet? The air intakes around the wiper arms will have drain holes, if these are blocked then water will collect and you'll get misting from that. Next dry day you need to open all the windows and let your car breath for a few hours.

Putting anti mist products on the windows should be last resort. Get rid of the water problem first.

Heated front screen solves the problem Otherwise, passenger window open a bit and fans on a slow speed set to cold and on the windscreen

switch the air con on and set the heater to hot/ window , the air con will remove the water from the car window, but you should still get hot air out of the vent,
Only problem is that on some cars when you switch off the air con the misting may comes back.
But as Bob said the main problem may be excessive water in the car.

It's an idea to run your a/c at least once a week even in the winter, it reduces the chance of damage to seals on the compressor.
