Parking in Stockton?
Discussion
I've been invited to a work 'do' at Joe Rigatoni's restaurant in Stockton. Not sure whether to:
a) Get the train from Newcastle, have a few drinks and hope I can scrounge a lift back.
b) Just drive down and be done with it. Does anyone know what the parking is like here?
Any thoughts?

Rigatoni's is opposite a multi-storey car park and a 'normal' one. There are also parking laybys just outside and a couple hundred yards away.
If you're driving something swish, leave it at my place and get a taxi (about 2 miles)...
I know the mult-storey has security on it during the day but not sure about evenings. It's also free for 3 hours daytimes!

That's very decent of you wedg1e, thanks for the offer. Not sure if my car is classed as "swish"... probably a matter of opinion.

By the way, I usually 'let the train take the strain' when I go to Billingham, so it must be somebody else's exhaust that you can hear. Maybe the grey S1 that I keep tripping over on my way to the station?

I passed a grey S1 this aftie... it's the one that lives in the local High Street.
