Hello,

I'm trying to get my Tiger through the SVA but I'm having trouble with the handbrake, namely that it doesn't have a professionally crimped endstop on the main cable.

Does anyone know somewhere locally where I could have a small ferrule crimped onto a cable?

thanks
James

He'd be from Newcastle Bob.

I would be inclined to try H.W.R. Motorsports up in Ponteland.

If they can't help you, they are likely to know someone who can - they are the guys who build and race Westfields...

Thanks Stefan, I'll give them a call tomorrow.

How's the Libra? Just read the article about the current V6 version in Practical Performance Car this month - very nice, although a tad expensive at £11.5k for the kit, minus engine and wheels!

the V6 is apparently a little back-end heavy though, it really needs a lighter 4 pot for balance. The best one I have seen is a turbo'd Audi engine in the back, although that is still getting built at the moment!

Mine is good though, still has a few issues that need sorting, but I did 450miles last weekend and it didn't miss a beat until coming home Monday evening when all the sidelights went out (and I got stopped by Police to boot).

On top of that, I need more money - I quite like the idea of putting a MGTF engine in, 160bhp evil

It's the black alloys that do it for me - a black car with black wheels cloud9 oh and a nice wing on the back also
