Yeah, I know what ya saying but there should be some nice motors there all the same. Should be for all enthusiasts though.

if its organised as a supercar run .... then its for supercars

if I organise a Porsche run .... its for Porsches

if its a pistonhead run ...... its for performance car enthusiasts

I don't see the problem?

Please define a 'supercar'.

Interesting that his page has images of a Skyline and a Supra on it.

Having seen some of the people who drive those cars, i'm quite happy to be excluded from this event

Shame that not everything that goes fast, looks good...

...and vice versa, of course.

I do think it's a bit funny that he's popped along to try and advertise his event on a motoring website and got nowt but flak from everyone.

I can't see the problem in what he's saying..unfortunately it's a cruel hard world out there and if you don't have a sportscar/supercar/GTcar then you can't turn up. end of. the chap who was whinging about not being allowed to bring his clio...well dear me..I'm sure he will be allowed to turn up and watch or blag a ride in one of the better cars but to moan that his family hatchback does not qualify as a worthy or interesting car and therefore that the event is elitist is shameful.

there are plenty of events that PH and non PH people organise which permit all types of cars, I think it is right and proper that we allow this fellow the freedom to set his own rules on the type of cars that may attend.

In that case I am setting up a run for all the shocking, slow, boring cars on PH. All the Micras, Fiestas and Corsas... nothing over 1.0 allowed :P

Yeah you can. If I'm not mistaken the event is being held on public roads

oy copper I didn't mean it like that!

you know what I am alluding to...the general sense of decency most people have means that you don't gatecrash someone else's party if they have specifically excluded you (as is their right, I believe)...unless there are going to be pretty girlies there. then that changes everything
