Motorshow - Penshaw north east
Discussion
Sorry folks, it's just not worth the money.
The monster trucks and Russ Swift put on an excellent show, but as it's first aim is as a motorshow, it fails dismally.
The manufacturers that have bothered to attend have only brought a handfull of cars with the exception of Ford and Vauxhall. The Ford stand has a GT on display and for what looked like a small donation, you can have your photo taken sitting in it. The Vauxhall stand has it's range of vxr cars but I didn't notice a Monaro there. The two cars I'm interested in - Clio Sport and Mini Cooper S - none what-so-ever. Renault havn't bothered to attend and BMW have brought one mini - a convertible. There's loads of motorhomes on display, but I'm not really in the market for one of them.
There's plenty of food stalls to take your cash - £1.50 for a tray of chips and £3 for a pasty. There's a few craft marquee's and loads of fairground rides. Just a shame there's not many cars.
