Hi guys,

Does anyone in the the Teesside area have a trailer or towing dolly I could hire/borrow to get my sons Mini back from the sprayshop in Stockton to home in Redcar.

Cheers, Tony

There's a guy in Stokesley I think it is, that my friend uses, rent a trailer for £47 a day iirc, drop me a mail through my profile, and I'll ask my workmate for the number tomorrow.

Failing that, when we moved house, I used an auto-recovery company, (the kind who remove cars from the A19 when you've smashed them up/broken down) £40 all in to pick the kitcar up, and deliver it to the new place, admittedly it was only the other side of Stockton, but the guy gave the impression that distance didn't make much difference to him.

The one I used was "Auto Recovery Services", they're in the yellow pages, even if they charge you £50 to move it from Stockton to Redcar, you're saving yourself the fuel and a lot of hassle

Just remembered that a couple of years back I used the recovery truck belonging to the garage on Darlington Rd, Hartburn Village, Stockton to pick up my old TVR 280i (non-running) and have it taken up to Stillington.

They charged me less than 40 quid, IIRC.

Thanks for the replies guys,

I'll go the recovery truck route rather than a trailer. Ron Perry on A19 85 quid (ouch!). MIDS Auto Services in Marske 50 quid, now thats more like it.

Thanks again
