Hi

I am the Area Organiser for the Lotus 7 Club.

I have posted here and the Elise forum in the past.

If anyone is interested we are having a run to Newcastleton this Saturday via Bellingham and Kielder.

We will then have lunch in the grapes Pub, Newcsatle before heading back.

We intend to be at the pub by 12 noon as there are other cars joining from Scotland

Hi Peter,

Not sure if you remember me, but I could tell a tale or two about your washing machine

Unfortunately, Matthew's Robin Hood still isn't on the road - he's only had it 2 years or so!! I am hoping Adam (whitely bay adam, lol) will give him a prod up the arse - that way I might get some peace on a Sunday to get some work done!

Do you happen to know of a green and yellow Seven-a-like that was heading back from Durham to Consett at about 7pm on Saturday, on a trailer behind a dark coloured BMW? I was hoping there was a fellow owner around here - I have a Tiger Super Six (although not yet road legal) and Tiger owners are thin-on-the-ground up north.

I'm sure I saw it last year also, being driven towards Consett, possibly it was in Dipton or thereabouts.

I assume there'd been a trackday somewhere (Teeside or Croft??) as a friend mentioned seeing loads of Sevens and possibly an Ariel Atom on the A1 earlier that day. I've seen the Atom around the Derwent reservoir.

I can see a trip to the sinbin for this, but I seem to recall it involved certain parts of your anatomy wedged between the washing machine and work top, or something?!

Needless to say, I now sell childrens toys and run a parenting forum - a bit of a difference!

Be careful on the C200 from Bellingham to Keilder there are loads of young deer about at the moment.
i was up last weekend and had a near miss.
Hit one on the A167 south of Rushyford and it made a mess of my offside wing. the cops came out and shot it. ( the deer not the car ).
Feck me them guns are LOUD.
