What Shaftos is the NEPH meeting place

When See the first post on the 'sticky' thread on this forum for event details. The next meeting is 24th April. We usually meet there at around 7:30 and have a chat in the carpark then into the pub for eats and drinks.

Why Because we want to

Where Shafto's is near Spennymoor

Might have a bimble along, but I'll probably be in the racing Transit...

Esprit engine slowly coming back together, TVR has split header tank and no tax.

Loopy J and I were going to make an appearance but due to unforseen circumstances now looks highly unlikely. Hope all that show enjoy it! It's a good night and the staff are allways worth a laugh!!! "what do you mean, you want food?"!!!

The food is OK and the price is good. The problems have been with the staff mind you last time we were there things were much improved. The venue is perfect and that counts for a lot.

Just spotted the thread. I could do with ctaching up with some proper petrol heads. I recently got rid of my Caterham as a result of a change in child count and needed some extra seats. I no longer go to the Caterham meetings as it is painful talking about a car that I miss (don't miss the wheelspin at 90 mph in the wet though. Unfortunately, I ended up with 12 extra seats:

993 C2 96 varioram as fresh as it left the factory
Golf GTi mk2 8v - bit of a project that I have just finished renovating (some may say making a mess of)
Golf GTI mk2 16v - better nick than the above in the first place but much more tempramental. I was warned about this beforehand but could not resist.

My boss has a GT3 and a TVR Vixen so I will try and get him along as well.

I cannot make it tonight as short notice but will try an make it next time.
