RAC Inspections?

Mrs Couger has her eye on an Audi TT , Yeah I know... thing is I know nowt about them, or anything about Audi in general, are these RAC inspections worth getting done? or has anyone had one, and know the dodgey bits

No actual experience but I do understand that both AA & RAC inspections are liability free i.e. when it falls to pieces two days later you have no right to take action against them.

If you accept this and just treat the RAC inspection like you would if your mechanic mate came and looked it over then it's probably OK. The RAC should know what to look for.
