Be warned and be sensible past Washington services as with the current 50mph limit there seems to be a lot of activety by the local Fedz. Have seen someone pulled over each time I've passed recently.

I hope Plod are doing more work than the Shovel & Pick mob then.

I passed there today and there were 2 blokes in Hi-Vis coats doing some serious formation shovel leaning

From what I've witnessed, there has been a few instances where plod has been sitting on the fly over, just after the Washington Services heading Southbound. Transit van, parked side on with the side window/door open.

This was a while ago now when the 50mph speedlimit was the full length. I think the NSL starts a bit further back now, but it's still worth looking out for them sitting behind the concrete dividers.

They were also doing the old "pay no attention to me I'm just a contractor van with yellow lights on parked in the road works" trick on that stretch so be very careful
