Someone has asked me where the best place to get an original Mini is, and I said there was a garage in Newcastle but I can't remember the name of it or where it is! Pretty bad as I went there a couple of months ago to have a look at the cars

Also, can anyone reccommend where the best place would be to get an original Mini round here is? (No idea of budget, sorry)

'the mini place' in deptford in sunderland is a pretty good place to start but don't go along being completely ignorant about minis otherwise in the manner of most car dealers you are likely to be stiffed

if however he recognises you as a mini fan and that you know your stuff he will treat you with respect and is in actual fact an extremely helpful guy

he has a couple of cars available usually, from 998s to 1380 coopers, best to just go along and see

If it's a place in Newcastle your looking for, there's also LM Custom Mini's on Foxhunters Rd. (2515522 or 2521221)

Don't know if he's any good but I've been told he has a few classic Mini's for sale.
