Large Pit needed.

Does anyone here know where I might find a garage with a large pit that could accommodate our 40 foot Motorhome in the Newcastle or Cramlington area?

I would like to change the engine oil and filter, and generally do a chassis inspection and first service, but I would like to find a garage (local bus garage or truck garage) that I could loan their pit for 1 hour or so to do the job.

I would be happy to pay for, or repay the favour.

Can't promise anything, but I'll enquire. Still have a few contacts at Stagecoach in Sunderland, but I don't know how accomodating they are these days for Govy jobs.

Quick update for you Ian, Tried the ambulance depot, but they only have ramps and although an ambulance fits on ok, I doubt a motorhome would fit (it has been tried....and failed)

I'm just waiting to see what my contacts at Stagecoach can come up with. Do you have any specific period of time when you want to do the job? For instance, if the only time I can get you in is a weekend or during the night, would you still be ok?

I can accommodate anytime, weekend or night. It should not take any longer than about 1 hour to complete.
