Well I am! Is anybody forming an official convoy? 10-4.

Hi Gareth

I've already booked my ferry crossing (Speedferries 11.15 Dover Boulonge crossing on the Thursday Morning) and have booked the M2 (Medway) Travellodge for the Wednesday night to split up the trip.

I'm currently trying the drum up some interest from the NETVRCC, and know of at least two other TVR's who are keen to go.

Last year i drove across the Heysham to pick up my brother (who hopefully will be going again in 2006), but should be able to firm up the route plans early in the year.

I'd be keen to try and sort out some sort of mini-convoy, the more the merrier.

Great stuff! I'm off work from Thursday night, so I might make it a late start Thursday rather than an early Friday. See how it pans out.

i'm going down gareth, but being the lazy student that i am, will be going down pretty early to enjoy all of the fun, probably leaving on the tuesday or the wednesday. it would be good to meet up with you down there, especially if you get sorted out with another wee beastie, mine will either be yours again by then or will have long gone to a caring home

Allo mate! Good to see you've signed up. I'm sorting a new Wee Beastie in the New Year, and I'll definately give you a shout when I'm there.

Just a quick update, i've had confirmation from the TVRCC that we're in Houx Annex this year. So that the travellodge for Wednesday night on the M2 booked, the speedferries 11.15 crosssing booked for thursday morning, and camping permit / entry tickets sorted.....

If anybody else makes the trip, i'll see you at the Friday morning car meeting (Indy corner) or come and find us in Houx Annex and join us for a beer.

I'm going this year. Still finalising the finer details as my brother in law is organising the trip. Happy to join a convoy if things match up.
