Im looking for something to keep me out of trouble over the winter, some sort of cheapie classic to muck about with in the garage when the job gets on top of me, any suggestions... anyone got any half done lumps of rust/fibreglass looking for a good home

I've got an Alfa 146ti 5 door, I'm trying to get rid of.

2.0, Red, TSW alloys and it's been lowered.

I was going to do some work on it to use for track days, but I got the Skyline.

Body wise it's in good nick, engine just needs an oil change, plugs and HT leads and will be sweet as a nut.

I was going to strip it, add a roll cage, couple of bucket seats, air fliter and new exhaust system. The 2.0 twinspark engine has an excellent exhaust note as is.

205 1.9GTI?

Strip it out, air filter, exhaust, some headwork and cams and you should be looking at a real track/road rocket. R5 GGT would be good but need money spendinhg on them to make sure they don't overheat. My mate had one running 210BHP and it was stuipd quick!

If you want to get something cheap and cheerful, a 200sx could be a good laugh.

Get a few sets of rear wheels strip it and take it drifting? Excellent!!!!

yep, sure I am!

have to sell it because I changed jobs and had to hand back the company car. Totally sorted and over £7K worth of bills to show for all of the work I have had done, needs not a penny spending on it. You know you want it.....

Not rising to it, even though I have a half-finished lump sat around.

Last time I tried to sell it, the bastard broke, so it stays

Oh crap, I've said it now...

Latest progress: engine is mostly scattered around the workshop. Several ancillaries have been overhauled; most of the alloy has been bead blasted. Oil cooler has been cleaned, now air might pass through the fins!
Coolant header tank and various brackets were powder-coated on Friday.

Awaiting new pistons and liners.
