It's nearly finished

I don't have much in the way of footage of the outside of the cars, so if anyone has any footage, can you please send it to me. I'd prefer the original DV tape if possible (returnable of course) or as a .avi .wav or .mov file. I have broadband, so I can accept it as an e-mail if required. Unfortunately, I can't seem to open a standard DVD recording as I don't have a DVD ripper.

My address is available via e-mail and all contributors will have much admiration thrust towards them.

No mate, I can't rip the DVD into a file my editor can read. Nice watching it though

Nearly finished. Hasn't got any music or anything, but I think I'm pushing the limits of my abilities by trying to add some, so it might just have to be the raw sound of the engines.

just engines for me too - I bet mine was the loudest (maybe not, the Mini's CR/SC box was bloody noisy)

I've spent an eternity learning how to use editing software and getting this bloody video in some sort of order, but I'm afraid I've fell at the last hurdle. The video is sitting on the storyboard all complete, clicked on produce video, which should start the DVD burning process and nothing.

All I get is two greyed out options of back and next and a highlighted option of cancel.

I'll crack on to try and get something for tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Yeay!

Bob's luck has rubbed off. Uninstalled the program, re-installed it (a bit worrying as I didn't know if it would also uninstal all my work) and everything working fine again.

Video is being produced as I speak. 49 minutes long.

I'll have to leave it running - got to go to work now, so we'll see when I get back tonight at 7 ish.

yippee, cant wait , i can sympathise with the editing suite thing,they can be hard work and i leave mine over nite to do its rendering thing which i think is the bit that turns it into dvd ?
