Isn't there someone who advertises in Sprint that offers an on car disc skimming service?
I'll try and remember to look up the name.

Funny you should mention this, I've just spent an hour removing my discs for a quick skim. Got a bloke at work that does them but I don't know how good he is yet, so give me a couple of days and i'll see if he's any good.

You'll have to remove them which is an easy job as long as they aren't rusty like mine were.

hi Byff, i didn't think the disc's were held in place by anything .... thought the wheel bolts done that? at least on the fronts anyway

Only thing that holds them in place is the wheels nuts and rust. If yours has no rust, easy job mate.

I've popped mine in to be skimmed now but it's a favour that I don't think they'll appreciate repeating very often. I dare say any small engineering/machine workshop will do them for a nominal charge.

F1, the Lotus dealers in Newcastle, do disc-on skimming. I prefer to whip mine off though, and it's half the price.
