Hello folks,

Can anyone recommend a local(ish) alloy wheel repair place?

The problem I'm facing is that I have a polished appearance on the surface of the wheel, that I'm reliably informed is diamond cut. I don't know of anyone locally that does that..?

Does anybody know of such a place?

Cheers,
Wayne

Yes, they're pretty good.

Unfortunately I've already been to see them and they haven't got the equipment to do the required finish.

Cheers anyway.

It might be worth giving Romax a ring, they're on or just off Ross road, Portrack, Stockton,
Not sure if they'll have the equipment you need, but a friend had a 111S wheel repaired by them, and was well chuffed.

Have you tried www.wickedwheels.co.uk/

I haven't used them myself (although I am thinking about getting my wheels done over the winter), but I have read good things about them.

Might be a bit pricier than other places though.

I had my Esprit S4 wheels refurbed by Pristine and they came back rewelded, painted and in absolutely mint condition. about £180 for 2 wheels.
Very happy customer

I've already called WickedWheels.

I 'phoned their head office and asked if they could do them. They said they could but only on site at their workshop.

They still insist I go through the local operative though. I've called him and left a message and haven't had a response so far.

I'll get in touch with Pristine.

I thought I'd provide an update for this thread.

The wheel is being sent off to Pristine on the 19th for repair.

Cross-eyed twit, I owe you a beer.

Cheers,
Wayne.
