well the mini is getting a bit shagged now to be honest - and after 99,000 miles, 45,000 miles of which were what can only be described as severe abuse who can blame it...

I can see either a rorty 1380 like yours on the horizon, or a 2.0 16v red top vauxhall engine the only trouble with that is that it's not an A-series...however is has a whopping great deal of power and torque and would be reliable... I do quite fancy the idea of 140mph in a mini!

Just bring both Tom. You'll see from the 'sticky' thread that we may end up with two groups. You could drive your Ginetta with the fast group then jump in the Mini and go out with the second group.

i'm trying to locate someone trustworthy enough to drive the mini up for me!

wildfire (chris) would be up for this but he's on holiday right now. i'll text him and see what he says

If you're coming and haven't booked yet then please do so and let me know. The Croft booking office is getting busy now because the August trackday has been and gone and regular trackers are starting to fill up the September date.

September is popular because it's the last of the year and Claire is anticipating a high turnout.
