Good day fellow PH lurkers,

I'm organising a small pie and pint run, effectively a run out in our sports cars to the pub for lunch and a pint (beer, soft drink, water, you name it, just be responsible). This is an open invite to ladies and gentlemen that fancy a small grand tour into the countryside and stretch their cars a bit. We'll do some driving, stop for lunch at a pub (that hopefully serves pies), and do some more driving. Bring a passenger if you wish.

We'll meet at Washington Services and decide on one of two routes. One is north and one is west.

So far there's a few TVRs, a Jag, and possibly a Morgan committed.

Sunday 10th July. Thinking about 9.30am. Come with a full tank as Washington Services is not cheap. Southbound.

Hope to see some fellow PH'rs out to join us.

No replies but just in case anyone is joining the 6 of us... just changed the time to 11.30. My slave cylinder decided to leave some clutch fluid in the middle of Durham earlier.

How was it and how far did you go? Wish I could have tagged along but couldn’t make it - please let us know if you do another one.

We ended up having lunch in a pub about 10 miles further from Hartside Pass, and took the interesting route via Consett and Slayley. Great run out. I'll organise another either for the end of July or beginning of August.

I'm still trying to figure out a date (and or a car I can borrow as mine needs a new diff now). The likely run is up to Craigside via a specially selected route, so make sure your National Trust passes are up to date if you're a member :-)

Hi Folks

Thinking either 14th or 21st. Can I get some feedback on what works and I’ll work out numbers? Thanks

Just seen this, suspect I missed two events now? I'll subscribe to the thread as I don't log in very often.
