Restaurants near City Hall Newcastle

Wok Inn is 30 seconds along the road, never been but always busy with chinese customers, although maybe more fast food than cosy restaurant.
Or China Town, Stowell Street, a bit further away at 15 mins walk or so, but literally dozens of cosy restaurants to choose from.
For Indians, Dabbawal, High Bridge, also 15 mins walk or so, amazing Street Food style indians.

Also worth a look is Thali Tray.
Thanks for all the suggestions, just to round it up we went to WOK as we were running late and it was the nearest place to the City Hall to eat. Not brilliant but they were busy with t/aways so someone must be happy with them.
Anyway the concert was great( Elvis Costello) as was the boutique hotel (Grey Street).
Next time we’ll allow more time and try one of the other suggestions. Cheers.
