Afternoon,
As PH is the fountain of all knowledge, Can anyone recommend a good independant garage to service my mk1 172 clio. It needs a cambelt change and a 60k mile service soon, but don't trust renault to do the work.

Im based in the teeside area, but im willing to travel if anyone can recommend a place to go.

Cheers

Walker's of South Otterington, near Northallerton. They do lots and lots of Lancia Integrales and Fiat 5 pots so they know where they're splodging.

Henry Baier, in Brompton, near Northallerton. Single-handed ex-rally driver and former lecturer in fuel systems at Fiat's training college. Knows his stuff, won't rip you off and perfectly happy with a diesel crew cab or the leader of the TVR speed championship (yes, really). I wouldn't let anyone else near my car. Ask Wildfire...

Sell your Renault.

Buy a TVR.

Problem solved.
