Any recommendations please? All of my Ronal rims on my Merc have some kerb damage and the paint is bubbling up. It’s a diamond cut job, I think.

Thank you. I’m already booked into the Wheel Specialist, but it’s always good to have alternatives in future.

have a couple of sets that need refurbishing and was planning on using Romax but what did you think of Wheel Specialist?

RS Alloys in Hartlepool. Their AMG silver is lovely and bright for regular finish.

They did a good job on them. I originally asked for Diamond Cut which was more expensive than the powder coating they talked me into instead. They took the kerb damage off too. £325 for 4 x 19" wheels. All done in one day. I'm happy with them thumbup

Took my alloys for refurb to Motorcool at Mandale Triangle, Thornaby . Got them repaired ( one had damage ) and powder coated. Cost was £240 ( late 2021) for 4 18 inch wheels and job was excellent with staff and owner being very knowledgeable. They do powder coating for a whole range of stuff including classic car parts/chassis and wheels in virtually any colour you want well as metal fabrication, shot blasting and radiator/fuel tank etc repairs. I was recommended to go there by a manufacturer dealership.
