Lockdown is driving me crazy so I have found some time to make an account and try become an active member so I thought I would make a post to say Hi and show some of previous cars, interesting ones and a few snotters too!

Im from Sunderland and not sure if I will already know anyone on here already or not anyway enough small talk here is a few from over the years in no particular order.

Evo 7 with a friends S3 these were quite well matched on performance!

Same car getting some abuse at the ring 2016 ish

Testing out its tarmac rally prowess

E46 M3 Parked up at work & at the ring for a little blast before Spa F1 2018

My 1.0L Lupo with a modest 200bhp 1.8T engine shoe horned in and yes it was insured properly , think I was about 19/20?

High milage (as they all are) b5 s4 that was ran alongside the Lupo till they both went the journey to fund moving away

A couple of hot hatches, the Clio was awesome however I think the guy seen me coming, I had spent my last 2K on it after a failed attempt emigrating (long story) it then failed me when the diff/gearbox shat itself so I left it on the side of the road walked to the bank and took a loan out to buy My evo laugh The Civic was bought as a cheap daily while I spent a couple month working on the evo it drank so much oil it was ridiculous infact it was so much of a snotter I was topping it up with used engine oil from the Evos self inflicted oil change aftre every track day regime.

My E55 AMG which only lasted about a year as I got fed up of fixing air leaks.

A Lupo Gti I bought for £1000.. It had done 150k if i remember correcly! stripped out turned into a one hit track car for another Nurburgring track day, Bigger brakes, Bilstein suspension and the fact it was stripped out made it so much fun!, there was definitely a few people who should have been embarrassed with themselves that day!

Another "daily driver" from when I owned the Evo was this Fiesta St, bought it from a mate who had repaired it from salvage payed £8K sold it for the same after just over a year of daily duties and a of course a ring trip. Nothing makes me happier than free car ownership.. These are excellent little cars however I think the reputation of idiots with pop n bang maps spoilt them.

As promised a few propper snotters from over the years, £200 E class estate which I got my money back for after it failed an MOT, had a couple of these as runabouts. A £250 Octavia VRS estate which I stole off a student put a clutch and gearbox in for another £250 used for a Goodwood Camping trip then sold for £1k. A £600 B5.5 passat recently which was a minter, again had a few of these over the years awesome snotters!
And not forgetting a couple of disgusting MK3 golfs as a kid, one being the first car I ever bought again a £200 ish investment. Ive loved owning some of these sheds just as much as the nice cars.

This brings me onto what Im driving now, This MK5 was supposed to just be a cheap daily driver while I saved for something special but a cheap track day at Cadwell last winter I fell into the trap of modifying it so ended up buying the A6 avant for family duties which was maybe the better option as it leaves me free to tinker on with a cheap to play with little project.
