Yep, me too, Humshaugh is great, but I'd go to more if poss. Apparently there's something at Arcot Hall at Cramlington / Bedlington? area, still trying to get details though.

Sounds better in Morpeth. Was going to head across to Humshaugh today but weather was iffy. Is there like a drivers club group you have to join or something

Presume this is dave who used to run The Dyvels as I think he runs the pub in Humshaugh now?
Didn't know there was anything regular on...

Yep, that's him. There was something regular on the 1st Sunday of the month, but he's going to do it more randomly now, too many McDonalds car park specialists turning up and spoiling it. I think it's going to be announced by some kind of newsletter from now on.

Good to know. Dave is a good lad and keeping the chavs at bay is always a challenge.

You obviously know how nice Humshaugh is, doesn't really lend itself to the drum n bass, pops n bangs crowd!

I don't at the minute, but I'm hoping to get on the mailing list through a friend who knows the owner better than me.

Yeah, if I get any info I'll post it up here. I drive various old heaps, I'm mainly knocking about in a Mk1 MR2 that I got back on the road during lockdown. Cheap laughs. I've been up there in it, and I took my Evo up there a few times last year, as the roads from where I live to get there are great.

I've got a Boxster S that would probably make me look a bit smarter in the car park up there when I get round to getting the brakes back together. I'm generally looking for the next thing, so who knows what I might turn up in! laugh

I forgot about Arcot, I might have a look next week.

I was just chatting with my neighbour who attends supercar meets, including the one at Humshaugh and the Silverlink Supercars & Coffee meets. I know these events are not widely advertised to not attract the wrong crowd, and that my car won't make the grade for display, but I'd still like to be able to turn up, have a nosey and chat to people. Anyone know how I'd go about finding out more? I'm looking for excuses to get the loud car out over winter.

A good starting point for the forth coming season maybe to watch the Aston Works Beamish and their sister company the Car Barn who have recently held events at their site once a month throughout the summer.
Some nice kit can show up.
Check their site out.

I did go to most of them throughout 2022, clearly I should get chatting more to the other attendees!
