Bit of a problem with the automatic tansmission on the AMG (TVR owners - at least "pretend" that you know what that is) - it gave up the ghost 300 miles from home and had to be relayed home on the back of a Renault pickup van :)

But, the high point of the escapade was........................................................................................................................
My AMG still went faster than Bomb's 350C, even on the back of a tow-truck! :shoot: :biglaugh:

No - loss of transmission fluidy stuff from the cooler. My mother (who is barking mad) got closer when she told me: "The same thing happened to your father's car (1965 Hillman Minx)- just switch it off and back on again" - that, strangely - did work for a while!

(40 yrs inbetween - not really likely)

And before someone likens the AMG with a Minx - I reckon the Minx could give Bomb's 350C a run for its ma-honey!

"Rolling" -------- The lazy uncontrolled motion of a ship or vessel" (or a TVR)
