OK I might be jumping the gun a little here but with any luck my Lotus Sport 160 kit will be fitted in time for the next meeting – Whoo Hoo!

So what does that mean, firstly a car that will give a Honda Civic Type R a good beating above 80mph, I was humiliated by one recently and the guy driving it was amused to say the least. For Wendy and Elaine with their S2 111’s it means I might be able to keep up with them now! Dan in his yellow rocket I will have to be really nice to because after all, he’s building the engine. As for the TVR’s, Dan proved his tuned S1 was more than a match for a Chim 4.0L but as for the mega machines of the group (yes that’s Ian, Byff and the guy with the Tuscan) I will have to keep clear of them for the time being.

Look forward to seeing you all their again.

Damn, just looked at the calender, hubby's got a bike club meet the same night. Time to start phoning round the babysitters.

Although thinking about it he owes me really, really big style since I got a phone call from him this afternoon saying 'Guess what love, I'm at the Arctic circle!!'

How many PH events do you think would balance out a ten day trip to Scandinavia?

Got a Larini on mine (lovely ), LoopyJ has a Janspeed (I think) on hers. If we're both at the meet, you can compare.

I wouldnt be too upset about being wasted by the Honda Civic type R mate, they are a seriously fast peice of kit, and will eat quite a few supercars.

I know what your saying cougar, a mate at work has one and it is really quick but it was more his smugness that he beat me that knocked my ego!

Anyway, 160+BHP should help things along a little, enough so that the engine dosent become breathless at 5500RPM as the standard one does.

with any luck it will be ready for Shafto's.

HI Marcfair

WendyG has a Larini fitted to her S2 and LoopyJ has a Janspeed on Her's

My personal opinion having heard both is that the Larini is the one to spend your loot on. It's a nice low tuned note but according to WendyG it really sings when you rev it hard. The two pipes from the rear look fantastic too - like they could suck small children and dogs in!!

You could also do a de-cat too and realese 2-3 more BHP and a hell of a lot of noise, but its a personal thing. My S1 has a 4-2-1 manifold, de-cat and an eliseparts exhaust and its really loud and even pops on over-run.

I'll be there, hopefully will leave work in time to switch cars - but I'm not sure which camp it falls into...

Can we have a special "Lotus/TVR hybrid" section?

Hey Byff are you the "Only Lincoln Navigator in the Village" can't say I have seen one around.

I bet everyone in the village will keep their distance if you come rolling up front street, infact will it get through front street during rush hour, never mind fit on your drive!

my mate lives either next door to you or two doors away so I will have to have a look when i'm next there.
