Thinking about getting one of these, however it will be left on my drive. Will I be getting a visit during the night to hand over my keys? Seems to be a few horror/scaremongering stories about but mainly down the Midlands. Any experiences up here?

Looking at how common they are i'd say you were safe.

Plenty of them around my way.

Yes , my son bought the first one in Sunderland in 2010 , had it 4 years , left on the drive all the time.

Not one incident.

If you want one , get one.

Soory, late to this but yes, Live near Richmond and had mine stolen off the drive in 2018.
Broke into the house and stole the keys, we didn't hear a thing (thankfully) - last seen disappearing off ANPR near Bradford.

Mate is a Sgt in North Yorks Police and at the time mine was stolen there were 17 quick VWs and Audis stolen within weeks of one another in the NE & N Yorks. Coincided with the end of the A1 widening (ie. all cameras and cones taken down and speed limits lifted) - all went to Bradford so I've no idea if it's still ongoing or if it was just an opportunist thing.
