I’ve just had a conversation with the mother of a car mad lad called Lewis who is suffering with Leukaemia.

They are organising a meet for Easter Sunday to put a smile on his face.

It sets off from Washington Services (North bound) on the A1

at 10:00am on Sunday 1st April and will drive on to Jedwater.

Hopefully there’s a few of you available to come along and help with that smile and have a nice drive out?

Just meeting at the Services and having the drive up to Jedwater.

If i get back to the Uk in a timely manner and can get my things together after being away for 15 weeks, count me in...

I still plan on coming but it depends on the car really - its been laid up for 3 months and I plan to get it back on the road this weekend, but with a lay-off that lengthy I half expect things to break once I start using it again, fingers crossed it'll be ok.
