As i understand it, they're not actually Lotus dealers any more. They are official service agents but don't sell new cars from the factory any more.

That is my understanding of the situation.

David Hayton in Carlisle are proper Lotus dealers but if I were you I would travel further afield. Hofmann's are excellent to deal with.

A quick phone call would have surely worked a bit better than just rocking up on the offchance they had the exact car you were looking for?

They’re just a Lotus service centre now (I researched them before going up there) and a bloody good one at that. I’ve had my Evora up there twice and the service was exceptional each time.
