Yep, it's a month off, 1st May, Carole and I were planning to go for a run out that way in the next couple of weeks. Will e-mail you with a plan as soon as I have it.

Hi Rich

You probably won't know me but I was at original BNG at Ripley Castle 2 years back.

Definitely interested in Buttertubs Run on 1st May (myself and Rita my wife) - will bring back happy memories of my road rally days.

Lets hope for fine weather!!

Must try and make more of these runs instead of spending time in the garden.

No doubt details will be posted nearer the time.

Going out next weekend to plot a route something like this:

Meet at Scotch Corner

Back roads through to Butter Tubs Pass

Through Hawes and up over the tops on minor road

Through to Pateley Bridge and visit Brimham Rocks

just been around the Dales sat & sun with west lancs
stayed at Station Inn Ribblehead, 20 of us !

Has wetted our appetite for the Buttertubs Run
looking forward to it.

Ooops wrong castle - I meant Raby Castle!! I spend a lot of time in Yorkshire working and had my brain in work mode
