Look good but are they asking you to pay to show your car? ...or am I reading the ticket info. wrong?

Looks like you get a 15% discount, but there's no way I'd be handing over any cash without seeing some T&Cs and some information about who's actually organising the event and where I can contact them.

There is a discount on Groupon for tickets at the moment, a one day family ticket for £15 instead of £20. So bought a family one for the Saturday, might go without them for the Sunday if Saturday is any good. I hope it is as we need more events in the North East!

I agree with events in the NE part but charging people to display their car which forms part of the attraction they are then charging others to see seems an odd way to establish an event...unless I'm missing something this event has been happening for years?

Surely you ask enthusiasts to attend and display their cars free - wasn't the NE1 show free if you applied and were accepted?

Good luck to them though and hope it is good for those who go.

Agreed. Didn't realise this was the case.

I have no idea, but will go along to support, with any luck it will be alright.

MG Northumbria put on the fantastic 'Classics in Corbridge' in July. We've been showing our cars at this show for years now, it is well organised, has a variety of vendors as well as entertainment. Vehicles numbered over 800 this year and MG Northumbria have been able to give £14k to charities. There's no charge to show your car, and as someone else mentioned without the cars there wouldn't be any shows, so why the hefty charge at this one?

I went last year (via a Groupon deal) and it was more a manufacturer's showcase with a few car clubs dotted around but I think they've listened to feedback for this year. Would have been good to catch up (I still have your 40th card in the car - yes it has been that long) but am sat in the airport about to do 2 weeks in the sun.
