Hi chaps - I'm looking for a specialist near the Blyth/Cramlington/Delaval area rather than the main dealer I got the car from. Any reccomendations?

These guys seem to do jap stuff but no idea if they're any good or not! smilehttp://jm-imports.co.uk/

Any info appreciated biggrin

they do do jap cars, and seem to have a good reputation. however someone I know who freshly imported a car with them recently received an awful service and I wouldnt hand my car over to them for anything.
iirc they changed track rod ends and moved the steering wheel over a few splines to accommodate rather than adjust correctly and get the alignment done!

Thanks guys - Birtley's a bit of a trek if I need to leave the car though frown

Appreciate the warning about the first place though, think I'll stay clear of them!

Surprised to hear something bad about JM, I know a few guys who've imported with them in the past and had no issues. I get my car serviced there and been happy with them so far (I used DCY near York to import but they seem to have gotten a lot more expensive lately and are a bit of a trek from you!)

Still, interesting to hear about JM, will have to see how things go with them next time!

It's not that far if getting a good job done is important to you.

I've had a GT-R for 4 yrs now and used Jmimports several times. Not once had a complaint. Always very accommodating and good price as well.

Jurgen the owners a top bloke and the whole team seem like a nice bunch.

I only let them or Litchfields touch my car.
