after some hands on advice, and want to be able to see some flip out 7" single din car audio units with rear camera ability (thinking Alpine, Kenwood, Pionner, Clarion perhaps)

Where would you recommend I go in the North east to see and talk to someone?

Halfords - well they do stock Pioneer
PDACar in Harrogate ? how much do they have in stock ?
place under the B&Q bridge in Newcastle - can't remember what its called now, but was told they are expensive ?
Carsound in Middlesbrough - think they have ceased trading ?

Any recommendations, much appreciated please

The place near B&Q on Scotswood was ace, used them many times in that location and in their previous location in town (Tyne fancy goods) but not sure if it's still there.

They did a full refit in my jeep to remove the infinity and oe stuff and replace with alpine head unit, crossover and Bluetooth eq system and focal components, they did a few test fits with the roof on and off and eh end product was outstanding.

With that in mind I would second Autosounds ... But there is also the guy who used to own turner alarms and audio (mark turner) has a new company ... http://enjoythedrive.co.uk and they do some great work as well.

I know a few lads that have had work done by them and they've all been really impressed.
