When boiling eggs for Egg Mayo sarnies for tea don't put the eggs in boiling water. They tend to explode for some reason and you have to clean egg off the walls of the recently redecorated kitchen before your parents get back.

Sigh!

Last time I try to be helpful when suffering from a cold/throat infection/feeling poorly!

This is the same recipe that 'Mrs Bomb' must have used.......she read the cook-book, and the first instruction was.....

'Take one clean pan.....'


She gave up at this stage and we adjourned to the pub for a bag of pork scratchins'
