Does anyone have any recommendations for either of the above? I'm after a new kitchen and also a new boiler. I'm thinking about going unvented so a plumber/heating engineer with the correct tickets would be great. I'm in Chester-le-Street if that helps.

You could try my son - hard worker, doesnt cut corners, and very busy man. he is fitting me a new kitchen now at 10pm...

He is well versed with kitchens, bathrooms - anything made from wood to be honest.

I can recommend Henderson Joinery. Great attention to detail and very reasonably priced.

Can PM you a number if required.

Cheers

I am only 15mins away. Will be off next week after hospital appointment on monday, so could call out and measure up if you want. Have you seen anything or have any rough ideas on what style/design you are interested in?
I can also get my gas guy to give you a price direct for the boiler replacement.
Just drop me a line if interested.

John at JMD is spot on lives accross the road from me in Beamish. Mobile 07793609325 he never advertises his services and is always busy due to word of mouth. A builder that leaves a house/site cleaner then when he started!! Very rare.I hope this helps.

Cheers Mike
