Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced electrician?

I've got a bit of a project I want to do but need a central light fitting in a room changed out for some down lighters in the ceiling first.

I wondered if anyone knew an electrician in the Newcastle area that could take a look and give me a price for the work, even as a "weekend" job?

I'd personally recommend a company called "short-circuit electrical solutions" from Whitley bay.
We had the whole house rewired last year, the electrician basically made a complete mess of the job and we turfed him out, short circuit came in, assessed what was acceptable, what could be altered and what needed to be pulled out and done again from scratch.
Very professional company, but generally quite busy so you may have to wait a little while.
