Anyone recommend anywhere other than SEM to get a Volvo 18" Ixion diamond cut wheel repaired? Wifes V60 is going back to the lease company and there's a bit of kerb damage to one of the rims which goes beyond fair wear & tear.
Been to SEM and wasn't impressed with their attitude, or that they couldn't do 1 wheel because they're matt and wouldn't be able to get the colour right.
Anybody else out there in the North East? I dont even need the whole wheel doing if thats at all possible, just need to get it past inspection.

Don't know if they do that particular type of wheel but they do actual repairs as well as refurbishments - ask for Tony
at alloyfix (they're in westerhope)

I'd call to be honest - google Alloyfix and call the mobile number. Tony's sound and will help if he can - ask him how his S8 banana is going!

I would suggest finding out the cost that the contract hire company will charge as it may be £50 - £100. You will not get a diamond cut for much less than this anyway.

Thanks for the replies, looks like the only place that could possible do it was AlloyPro but they would have to send it away ... takes a week and about £120.

Emailed the leasing company asking them how much they charge on a damaged alloy ... £60 standard per wheel. Result.
Looks like they dont differentiate between alloy types, just one charge.
