Out the garage , and they used bolt croppers to cut the security cable on my sons road bike but thankfully didn't get away with it.

A long shot , but any info would be helpful.

Cheers.

I will keep an eye out for it, I often have occaision to speak to likely individuals riding pedal bikes in the washington area in my like of work.

Dont normally see them on road bikes though, mountain bikes/BMX are the undesirables transport of choice, its likely to have been sold or for sale somewhere shortly.

It is a mountain bike , XL with hydraulic disc brakes .

Front and rear tyres don't match.

Thanks for the interest shown , the policeman who was down last night was very helpful as well.

Kept an eye out over this weekend, not seen any "customers" on such a bike.

My pal reckons he saw it being ridden down over Fatfield Bridge this morning , but by the time he'd cottoned in it looked identical to mine it was too late to do anything.

Funnily enough he reckons the bloke riding it looked as he put it not the type to pinch a bike , but maybe he had bought it ?
