I have a 1998 Porsche 996 which is due to have a full stripdown & respray when I go on holiday early september. I know that when I get back off holiday the car is going to look amazing until I open the door and look inside and see the tired old red leather interior. So what im looking for is either suggestions on how I go about restoring this myself (leather restorer/cleaning products/etc.) or am I better off simply paying a professional to repair/recover the seats. Any advice on either products or recommended restorers woudl be greatly appreciated.

I think there's a guy in Washington who does interior restorations, he has a pretty good reputation.

Was recently quoted 1500 to retrim the front seats on my 964. That was from Northumbrian leather in Heaton.
