North East & Borders sports/supercar meets??

Just trying to ascertain if there is any interest in the North East & Borders region for a regular sports/supercar meet.
Or indeed if there is such a group already?
Sunday and sunny summer evening runs out in the countryside etc.
I'm thinking something along the lines of Leeds and Preston Supercar meets on a smaller scale, but in the North East rather than Leeds or Preston.
Any feedback, suggestions or show of interest would be appreciated.
