SS62 BEE, Yellow Camaro
Discussion
I've been a lurker on PH for approx 10 years and probably spend an hour a day on this site but never felt the need to register as any enquiries/questions I have can easily be answered via the search facility.
However, at 6pm today i've just witnessed the most disgusting piece of driving that I've ever seen.
A young lad driving SS62 BEE (yellow camaro) thought it'd be a great idea to over-take 3 cars on the A195 whilst a HGV was approaching in the oncoming lane, I was in the car that had to do an emergency stop so that the camaro could get past without killing someone.
Unfortunately my toddler in the backseat didn't see the funny side, I've just spent the rest of my evening calming him down.
All of this was caught on my on board camera so I'll be handing in the evidence to The Washington police station tomorrow morning.

I think society as a whole needs to live and let live more often.
If there had been an accident by all means use your evidence, but there wasn't. Everyone's okay. He wouldn't of done it deliberately and I'm sure it was a total lack of judgement which he won't be doing again.
Seems very harsh getting him in trouble with the police too. As drivers we are already under enough scrutiny as it is.
That's just my 2 cents. I'm sure someone else will be along to disagree shortly.

No, think I'm with you on this one.If there had been an accident by all means use your evidence, but there wasn't. Everyone's okay. He wouldn't of done it deliberately and I'm sure it was a total lack of judgement which he won't be doing again.

OP may be better going back to lurking.

Why have you got an on board camera??? If you've got a C63 AMG you should of followed him and had a chat about his driving obviously making sure your onboard camera is facing both of you just in case anything happened.Edited by Jedimindtrix71 on Tuesday 11th June 22:36

I see this car quite a bit in the Wshington area, never once seen him driving in a manner that made me want to have a word with him.
If you've seen him behaving whilst your on duty then that's good enough mate.He could've just been taking it for an 'Italian tune up' .
Though on the bright side my toddler now wants to watch transformers so he can see the ca again.
