911 996 Mark2 C2 2003 Exhaust

Im wondering if anyone has bought quad tips for a 911 996 Mark2 C2 2003. After looking around there are a few to choose from, does anyone know if the cheap ones on ebay are good quality? They look to be around £130 - £150 a set. Others like Dansk look to be around £260 upwards.

I am also trying to find a local breakers yard to get some rear silencers to modify Oettle stlye to get a nicer sound than stock. Has anyone heard the Oettle mod in the flesh, if so what is it like?

Is the oettle mod just silencer delete?

The rear silencer has an inlet and outlet pipe close to each other, you cut holes in each and add a 1.5" pipe to bridge the two. Under load the silencer is bypassed so you get some straight through but under normal idle and driving its pretty standard so my neigbours won't get miffed with me starting up at 6.50 am every morning. Its also known as the H&S mod.

Ah, the good old "Gundo Hack" - I'm sure AAS would do that for you. They also sell electric exhaust cutouts so you could get a Gundo Hack done with the cutouts installed in the link tubes to end up with a ghetto PSE setup.

Ahh cant help you there im afraid, ive had rear silencer delete but im guessing that will be to loud for your needs.
