Hi,

My Daughter is attending prom at the end of June and was wondering if there are limousines, for hire in the North East, with a difference - rather than just a 'plain old stretch' (her words not mine)!

Any ideas gratefully received.

For information, we live in Durham and her prom is being held near Houghton le Spring. She is looking for a one-way trip as her school is providing a bus for the return journey.

What would you consider 'a difference'? A Hummer limo or something like that?

make sure it is registered for this sort of thing with the local authority - most private hire vehicles used at weddings aren't legally allowed to do anything else - prom limos normally fall under the taxi regulations

I remember seeing a while ago, a guy doing this sort of thing with trikes, IIRC he had a few with the provision for three passengers on a bench seat. She wanted different :-D

I've seen a fire engine for hire around Darlington. Can't remember the name but should be searchable.
