If anyone ventures onto the M5 I have been told the police have two VW Tiguan R-Line 4x4s on patrol. Unfortunately I haven't found out the colour yet but it's worth knowing they are driving vehicles you don't expect!

Seen him in boldon, he was giving a skip driver a right telling off.. It does have a police logo on the rear side window...

2009 black 3 series on the a167 at plawsworth

Black '12' reg E-class estate with privacy glass passed me at a serious rate of knots on the A19 near Thirsk last Thursday evening. Very discreet blues behind the grill and in rear lights. Nothing else to distinguish it.

Silver Audi A4 Estate spotted on the A19 this weekend, not sure 100% where I was but I suspect it was a North Yorks car.

Saw an odd sight this morning just off the Mill House roundabout in Washington/Birtley/Springwell, minor bump between 2 cars, as I passed, a dark grey RR Evoque was sat behind the 2 crashed cars with blue lights all round it. No sign of red lights, just blue. I think it was a '62' plate. No sign of any police officers unless they were plain clothes. If it was police, it's very very sneaky!

Well it wasnt the police.

A lot of senior fire officers do however have evoques as job cars and I think one of the ACPO ranked officers in northumbria might have one as their company/job car.

May have been in transit when spotted in Thirsk? Didn't seem interested in the chap ahead of me who was several leptons above legal (and who got the scare of his life). Just boosted along the road making progress style...
