Hi there,

Just wondering if there's anyone in Newcastle with a van coming down to Teesside or vice versa in the next few days. Need a set of wheels and tyres collecting that i've recently purchased.
I could hire a van for £40'ish plus fuel but would rather give cash to a fellow PH'er if anyone is in the area.

Thanks.

surely a specialist wheel courier could sort it for you?

They are fine for 4/5 Wheels & Tyres, however these are 4 Wheels & Tyres along with 4 Tyres, hence cheaper to hire a van.

If no-one can help within a couple of days then a van will be hired. wink

Stick a post up on anyvan.com and you'll get offers galore, and usually a lot LOT cheaper than hiring one. Only takes a few minutes.

What size are they and are the tyres fitted to the wheels? I'm often travelling between Teesside and Newcastle and just wondering if they'd fit in a car (Octavia with folding rear seats so pretty big boot...).

Thanks for the reply.

Four 18" Wheels with Tyres and Five 18" Tyres. I fear it may be a struggle?

Think you're right - I reckon I could fit the wheels with tyres or the 5 tyres but not all of it (whereas our 6 series struggles to even fit 2x18" tyres into it). Hope you get sorted out.
