Revolution in Dunston, they've got a hunter system. It's £59 + vat but they're really good.

Had my R8 and Granturismo done at Revolution, made a massive difference to the R8.Well worth the money and they are pretty cheap I think.

I had my 964 Turbo done there last year and they did a great job...

however, I went with my daily hack BMW 325 and they really tried to screw me on the parts. They couldn't get the front track rod ends free'd off so said I'd have to go back after they ordered the parts which were inner and outer control arms?

About £250 plus the £100 I'd owe for the set-up. They gave me the print out which showed only my front toe was way out, so I went to my local garage and let them sort it. £105 total for parts (outer track rod ends only), labour, fitting and front tracking done.

Doubt I'll go back to Revolution due to that. They'd have had plenty work from me too. I get all our cars done every year.

I also didn't like the way the workshop manager jumped in my 964 to go for a blast. I asked him why and he said "to make sure it's ok." I said "how will you know it's ok if you didn't drive it before the alignment was done." He said "Erm, it's just to make sure nothing obvious is wrong."

I said "Right I'm coming with you". Him "why don't you trust me". Me "No". We went out and he ground my gears so badly at the Redheugh bridge I was going to tell him I was taking over.

Anyway, I've come to the conclusion there is no one up here any good. smile

AK Automotive in Rowlands Gill - 01207 544071. Full Hunter kit, regularly calibrated and they actually know how to use it. Proper outfit from a motorsport background so actually understand what it's all about rather than just working to figures on a computer.

That will be for a full check and adjust/setup.

Sounds reasonable value to me. I charge considerably more for the Loti I do. biggrin

I'm Anthony, partner at AK Automotive.

Just to clarify we don't charge anything to do an alignment check!!

The £100 is for a full setup, this price varies from car to car I believe your car was a Chrysler 300C? If you haven't got an adjustable camber kit installed the price would be lower as I believe only the toe is adjustable for the factory.
