It's snowy, I have the weekend off and I have a sledge....

Where's the place to go up here for some sledging action? I'm in Sunderland.

Cheers! biggrin

Newcastle Town Moor was always the classic when I was a bairn.

Mill Inn bank field in Seaham looks decent too.

Try the east face of Silksworth ski slope if you dare.

Also Hastings Hill is pretty good, as are Tunstall hills.

The playing fields at Windy Nook, there must have been over 100 people on the hill the other day, I can't get my Son away from the place.

Well, if that's the ASDA at Leechmere, then Tunstall hills are about a quarter mile further up the road. From the top, you'll be able to see the ski slope at Silksworth and several other hills surrounding the area.

Have fun!
