Hi all,

The Mrs and I are in the process of a house purchase in Low Fell, Gateshead. We'll need to get a structural survey done on the place. Anybody able to recommend anyone in particular?

I used a guy called Peter Fall Cowie who used to be in Portland Road.
I believe he moved somewhere else in the North East... I suggest you google him.
He was exceptionally good - very thorough. If I needed another structural I would certainly seek him out. He's not an estate agent so won't value and I didn't get the usual annoying statements that start "We were unable to inspect......" and end "so we suggest you get a specialist to inspect"
