Anybody in the region can recommend a supplier and fitter of the above please? I have looked online at the all in one units which fix to the windscreen ( eg Blackvue, Roadhawk) and have a trailing lead back to a cigarette lighter, but I want something hard wired in and it has to be very small.

I have seen very small cameras combined with a separate DVR which also contains the GPS and g force sensors for fitting elsewhere in the car.

If necessary I can buy one online but would want it professionally fit, so anybody who has gone down this route, or can recommend a good supplier and or fitter, much appreciated,

cheers. I'll try CCS in Sunderland too, I've been told they may be worth a look.

I've been looking for something similar for a while. There's lots on the market which don't have a suitable refresh rate, beware. I'd say that you'd need 7 frames per second in order for your footage to be acceptable to an insurance company or court. Most of the reasonably-priced systems are 3 fps or thereabouts.
