Hi,
I'm after an air-box made up out of Stainless Steel, I have idea's and pretty much the plan but need someone to weld it up/make it (I'm not a metal worker), anyone here capable or know of someone cheap?

Cheers.

You could try Wedg1e. He's been known to play with welding rods. Don't call him cheap though or he may bite.

Don't know, never tried. Try him through his profile or ask WD to help.

On second thoughts isn't the wedding the 5th? Probably not best to be asking for help now...

Just spotted this... whilst I can make two bits of steel get jiggy, I wouldn't call my handiwork pretty.
For sheet work I'd prefer gas, but I only have MIG
Currently have four outstanding projects, and that's before I start on my cars
I'm loathe to promise anything cos I always seem to let folk down, sorry.
Stainless Steve however IS da man. We've used him at work and I can confidently say that if you can dream it up, he can make it.

Thanks Ian. I had another idea the other day to be honest, it came while watching my dad do a service on the Citroen - the air box it uses can probably be modified to fit, it's perfect.

Just need to get one from a scrappy now
